Responsibilities: • Source and book truckload freight for customers • Achieve current load goals and grow account to increase loads • Developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain carriers • Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery • Negotiating rates and terms with carriers to secure capacity for shipments • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient freight movement • Tracking market trends and adjusting strategies to optimize carrier partnerships • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to increase business • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business • Understand your customers' full scope of freight routing and how new business is awarded • When contacting customers, focus on both short-term (ad hoc shipments) and long-term opportunities (upcoming projects or lanes) • Provide exceptional customer service and address any issues that may arise • Work in-office Wixom, shifts starting as early as 7 AM Qualifications: • 2 years minimum experience in logistics broker experience • Experience and expertise in transportation logistics • Collaborating within a team environment to provide service to both carriers and customers, with a strong emphasis on the carrier experience • Experience in booking truckload freight - booking freight, increasing capacity, and winning new opportunities • Strong sales and negotiation skills • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and freight • Excellent communication skills • Detail-oriented and organized • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Proficient in using transportation management software About Company: Welcome to Quality Freight Logistics (QFL), an industry-leading provider of unique supply chain solutions that deliver beyond client expectations.
