To work with the veterinary clinical faculty, veterinary residents, and other licensed veterinary technicians to provide and help coordinate the medical care of research animals within the Unit for Laboratory Animal Medicine (ULAM); to serve as a liaison between the veterinary clinicians and research laboratory personnel; and to maintain complete and accurate medical records.
Starting salary will be between $20-25/hr. Additionally, the department provides benefits that equal out to another 30-35% of the salary in the form of comprehensive medical insurance, dental coverage, retirement matching, life insurance, disability benefits, and other support and benefits that can be reviewed at benefits.umich.edu
Duties:
Provide work coverage until 5pm during the weekdays. Expectation for covering weekend and holiday duties is a shared responsibility amongst team members.
