Position: Government Bidding Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Government Bidding Specialist to join our team and assist in the bidding process for government contracts.

Job Summary:

As a Government Bidding Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the entire bidding process for government contracts. This includes identifying and researching potential bidding opportunities, preparing and submitting bids, and maintaining relationships with government agencies. You will work closely with our sales and project management teams to ensure that bids are submitted accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Research and identify potential government bidding opportunities through various sources such as government websites, trade publications, and networking events

- Review and analyze bid requirements, including technical specifications, pricing requirements, and submission deadlines

- Develop and maintain a database of bidding opportunities and track the status of each bid

- Collaborate with sales and project management teams to gather necessary information and prepare bid documents

- Ensure all bid documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on time

- Maintain relationships with government agencies and attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed

- Monitor and track the progress of bids and provide regular updates to management

- Assist in negotiating contracts and terms with government agencies

- Stay up-to-date on government bidding regulations and procedures

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in government bidding or procurement

- Strong understanding of government bidding regulations and procedures

- Excellent research and analytical skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and bid management software

- Experience in the construction or engineering industry is a plus
