As a Cybersecurity Strategy and Policy Developer, you will be responsible for the creation, development, interpretation, and strategic implementation of comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures. You will play a key role in mitigating risks and safeguarding our organization's assets through expert risk management, IT acquisitions oversight, and cybersecurity risk assessments.
Responsibilities:
Develop, draft, and revise cybersecurity policies, strategies, methodologies, and procedures to ensure robust security posture and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Lead cybersecurity risk assessment initiatives, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities, and recommending mitigation strategies.
Specialize in IT acquisitions, ensuring cybersecurity considerations are integrated into the procurement process and align with our strategic objectives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance our cybersecurity framework and response capabilities.
Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously refine and improve our cybersecurity policies and strategies.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to disseminate cybersecurity policy knowledge and best practices across the organization.
Manage and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Education, Degrees, and Certifications:
Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Must hold one or more of the following Professional Certifications in good standing: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CDPSE, CRISC.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in drafting, developing, and interpreting cybersecurity policies and strategies.
Proven experience in cybersecurity program strategy, methodology, and procedure development.
At least 2 years of specialized experience in Risk Management, IT acquisitions, and Cybersecurity Risk Assessments.
Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor team members.
