Job description
Adecco is hiring immediately for a Engineering Lab Technician with a local client in Santa Clara, CA. Pay is based upon experience from $35hr. - $47/hr.
Duties:
· Responsible for helping scientists and engineers to carry out their work faster and better under the guidance from the project manager.
· Works in laboratories, conducts experiments, operate tools, and report the data collected back to the team.
· Maintain and operate laboratory equipment and instruments
· Collect data on those tools with the help of the project team
· Compile data and report to scientists and engineers for analyzing the data
· Need to do some wet chemistry work
· Keep control of inventory and procurement of chemicals
· Assist scientists and engineers to improve productivity
· Maintain basic supplies for the lab
· Assist the team for the day today work
· Follow safety protocols
· Chemical equipment handling expertise
Requirements
· B.S. degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science who may be about to complete B.S. degree
