Job description
Are you a successful and knowledgeable Personal Injury Attorney looking to work alongside an established team of high-performing professionals? If so, we’d like to connect. Our firm is looking for an applicant who can manage case files from start to finish and help our clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. We need someone with excellent credentials, a real passion for helping people, and a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation and trial case experience. Responsibilities:
- Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system
- Modify, review, and draft demand letters, pleadings, claims, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
- Converse with clients, expert witnesses, supporting witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to gather information
- Assess potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly
- Govern personal injury case files from inception to completion
Qualifications:
- Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative
- Requires a bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree
- A minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is necessary
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills are desired
- Must be computer proficient
