Job description
ThedaCare Physicians-Pediatrics is seeking a BE/BC Pediatrician to join any of our outpatient Fox Cities locations. Consistently recognized as Best of the Valley Post-Crescent Readers' Choice Awards winner. Providers partner with Children's Hospital of Milwaukee, located at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah. Children's Hospital is responsible for admissions/coverage of the 20-bed Pediatric Unit and 22-bed NICU in Neenah. Physicians enjoy a collegial atmosphere, supportive of both primary care and specialists.
- Full Time 1.0 FTE 32 patient contact hours (4 days per week)
- 100% of the time will be spent within the clinic (no hospital or rounding responsibilities with his role)
- On-Call is shared among the call group
- Currently split between 21 providers across 4 sites in our call group. This equates to an on-call shift about 2x/month.
- Clinic Hours:
- 7a-6p Monday- Thursday and 7a-5p Friday
- Outpatient clinic visits only. No hospital rounds or nursing home calls.
- Average of 18-22 patients/ day once well established. Currently, all of our physicians in peds run on a 15/30 min template
- Patient Panel -1,500-2,500
- Team consists of 21 primary care physicians and 7 APCs. Support staff include MA, RN, and staffing support.
