We are looking for your talent to help us invent the future of flight in the Advanced Technologies Organization at GE Aerospace. Looking to impact aviation for years to come? The Staff Mechanical Design Engineer will report to the Advanced Mechanical Systems design sub-section manager and be responsible for the mechanical design, manufacture, and delivery of hardware used in the development testing of the next generation of narrow body jet engines. You will be responsible for the design of mechanical systems hardware on RISE engine demonstrator programs and providing guidance for a team of US and global engineers to deliver on these designs to support ground/flight test demonstrators, rig tests, and product designs.

This position has the flexibility of optional hybrid schedule once fully trained. The hybrid schedule consists of working in the office minimum of 3 days per week and the option to work from home on the other days, based on team/project schedules.
