Job description
Our Award Winning Client is seeking a talented professional to join their team as a CT Tech. This is a full-time onsite role with paid relocation available.
Key Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology school.
- Certification in Basic or Advanced Life Support is mandatory.
- Possession of a current license or temporary license from the Texas Medical Board (MRT) is required.
- Preferably a Registered CT Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT); other options considered from JD.
- Strong preference for candidates with hospital experience.
Technical Skills:
- Conducting CT scans on patients.
- Patient preparation, procedure explanation, and contrast administration.
- Positioning patients for the CT scan.
- Selection of appropriate imaging techniques.
- Ensuring technical quality of the scan.
- Entering and monitoring patient data.
- Performing quality assurance on CT equipment.
- Assisting with ACR and other accreditation applications.
- Identifying and reporting accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions.
- Taking emergency calls within the department.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares patients for CT scan and administers necessary contrast.
- Positions patients for the CT scan and selects appropriate imaging techniques.
- Ensures technical quality of the scan.
- Enters and monitors patient data.
- Performs quality assurance on CT equipment and may assist with accreditation applications.
- Identifies and reports accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management.
- Takes emergency calls within the department, may work weekends, and float to other locations as needed.
- Ensures safe care adhering to our Award Winning Client's policies and standards.
- Promotes individual professional growth and serves as a resource to less experienced staff.
