ESS-071

We are looking for a construction safety training professional with at least 10 years of continuous construction safety experience. Professionals who are passionate about the safety and health of employees, excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, in English and Spanish, have good computer skills, and proven management skills.

In addition, we are looking for someone who can fulfill the following criteria:

• Provide safety training in English and Spanish.
• Manage the training team and develop strategies to boost productivity, ensure compliance, and promote employee growth. This leadership position involves continuously assessing project-wide developmental needs, implementing training initiatives, and crafting effective employee training solutions.

Manage Training Programs and Policies:

• Develop training policies, programs, and schedules based on identified needs and business processes.
• Conduct needs analysis studies and collaborates with managers to determine training requirements.
• Analyze data to assess training needs.

Instructional Methods:

• Choose suitable instructional methods and that includes individual training, group instruction, self-study, demonstrations, and simulation exercises.

Instructor Training:

• Train instructors and supervisory personnel in effective training techniques.

Record Keeping and Evaluation:

• Maintain records and prepare statistical reports to evaluate instructors' performance and monitor trainees' progress.

Budget Management:

• Develop and manage the training budget.

Recognition Programs:

• Develop and implement employee recognition programs linked to training achievements.

Compliance:

• Ensure training programs align with industry regulations and legal requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise the trainers, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
• Collaborate with the Trainers to ensure effective training programs and materials delivery.
• Mentor and guide the Trainers in professional development.
• Support the translation of training documents and other safety documents into Spanish as needed.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of continuous construction safety experience (7) years with an appropriate college degree in engineering or safety.
• An energetic trainer is able to communicate construction safety in English and Spanish.
• Ability to translate technical safety documents and training into Spanish.
• Flexible hours to cover various work shifts on site.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Broad technical knowledge in construction safety and training techniques.
• 7 years of proven training management.
