Pay Rate: The rate range being offered is between $32-$36 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 3pm-11pm

What’s a typical day as an Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor? You’ll be:

• Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA standards and company policies

• Conducting safety inspections and implementing corrective actions

• Developing and delivering safety training programs for employees

• Investigating accidents and near misses, and implementing preventive measures

• Developing and updating safety policies and procedures

• Promoting a culture of safety through regular communication with employees

• Developing and maintaining emergency response plans

• Leading or participating in the safety committee

• Maintaining accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and corrective actions

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred – but not required w/applicable experience)

• Hold a certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., OSHA 30 Hour)

• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety role within a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in the plastics or packaging industry

• Possess in-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards, particularly OSHA requirements

• Have strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and motivate others to prioritize safety

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software for record keeping and data analysis
