St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI is looking for a passionate Endoscopy Technician to join our GI Lab team!
This is a full time, benefits eligible position scheduled 32 hours per week. Shifts are Monday - Friday 7:15 am - 4:00 pm.
On call requirements for this role include 1-2 nights per week from 4:00 pm - 7:00 the next morning) and 1-2 holidays per year. This position also includes a weekend rotation (on-call once every 6th weekend from Friday 3:00 pm to Monday 7:00 am). On call differentials are available!
Endoscopy Technician duties will include (but not be limited to) assisting the provider with GI procedures, setting up the procedure room for the day, stocking rooms, scope reprocessing, scope inventory management, cleaning procedure rooms, and working closely with the anesthesia team and RN during procedures to provide the highest quality of care to patients.
CNA or endoscopy technician experience preferred but not required. No endoscopy experience is required. On the job training will be provided!

Job Summary:
Maintains a clean/sterile field to provide support for providers during endoscopy procedures. Prepares and maintains instruments and equipment and demonstrates expertise in the operation and function of required instruments and equipment.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Anticipates and plans individualized care for the patient for all routine endoscopic procedures and anticipates most unexpected patient and provider needs.
Runs the table and/or endoscopic equipment and assists the provider on all types of procedures utilizing the principles of surgical asepsis, infection control, universal precautions and life safety.
Maintains an orderly and organized work environment and takes responsibility for the maintenance and care of all equipment.
Prioritizes effectively, implements problem solving skills and performs in a coordinated manner when delivering care in high stress environments.
Demonstrates expertise in the operation and function of instrumentation and equipment for routine endoscopic procedures performed.
Maintains endoscopic scopes and instruments, demonstrating understanding of appropriate cleaning, high level disinfection and/or sterilization methods and serves as a resource and mentor to less experienced staff on cases, equipment and instrumentation.
Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.
