McGrath Honda of St. Charles – St. Charles, IL Description Are you a top booking dealer technician with few comebacks? Are you highly motivated and skilled technician looking for a change in atmosphere? Our team at McGrath Honda of St. Charles is rapidly growing, and is looking to hire ALL STAR technicians to continue the growth with us - with a BRAND NEW state of the art facility scheduled to open in late 2022. Our goal- oriented work environment, combined with great support and friendly atmosphere helps our staff to perform at their highest and advance in their careers. The McGrath Honda of St. Charles Service Dept. is also run by a former Honda Master Technician who knows what the life of a technician entails, enabling easy communication between management and the shop. Duties

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Diagnose causes of any malfunction and perform repair
• Ability to handle a busy work environment
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
• Document work performed for every repair order
• Perform video multi-point inspections
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• Customer service focused
• Focused on fixing repairs right the first time
• Ability to apply logical thinking and decision making based on procedures and guidelines supplied in the various task assignments
• Skill to perform numerous tasks as requested
• Basic computer skills

Experience

• Experience with working on variety of car brands
• 2+ years of automotive experience required
• Prior service shop experience is a must.
• ASE certified is a plus
• Honda experience is a plus
