• Perform physical property testing and analysis of materials, systems and products.
• Research, design, and develop new production processes.
• Coordinate and perform tests.
• Analyze data to develop conclusions.
• Communicate results of analysis and research.
• Evaluate current processes and develop improvements to safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Create standards and specifications for processes, materials, facilities, products and related tests.
• Assist in the establishment of timelines and budgets.
• Install, maintain, and inspect equipment and facilities.
• Perform routine calibration and troubleshooting of instruments.
• Provide training and mentorship to technical staff.

This is a salaried position that includes a monthly bonus structure. The hours are 8:30-5:30 with a one-hour lunch break, 5 days per week (40 hours). Some travel will be required and some weekend and weekday overtime as needed to meet critical deadlines. Pratt has a culture of moving fast and working in teams to achieve goals. Process Engineer Qualifications/Skills:

• Applied knowledge of analytical processes and mechanical techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to solve highly technical problems.
• Strong technical writing ability.
• Direct experience with the use of spreadsheet and database software to compile, analyze, and present data.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, lean manufacturing).
• Ability to execute tasks with minimal oversight.
• Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Experience in process engineering and product development.
• Experience is working with multi-discipline teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project).
• Project management experience a plus.
• Desire to continue to learn and experiment.
• Hands-on physical approach to solving problems.
