CAD Designer

DH Salary: 50-55K / 58-65K level 2 / 65-75K level 3 + Full Benefits Package
Responsibilities: The Designer is responsible for the design, development, alteration, or modification of shelter drawings and electrical systems as assigned. Prepares a wide variety of detailed drawings for the shelter and electrical design and is responsible for their accuracy. Breaks down information obtained from the bid letter, customer specification, and customer supplied drawings to do shelter design.
Makes a variety of calculations AC service, HVAC, energy, and structural, etc. following standard procedures. Prepare work orders detailed BOM while drawings are in progress. Works on projects of limited complexity. Assists other designers as needed.
Renders technical assistance to factory personnel, sales staff or customers as needed. Possible travel as needed.
Experience: 0-2 years on the job Designing experience.
Level 2 Experience: 2-4 years on the job Designing experience.
Level 3 Experience: Experience: 4-7 years on the job Designing experience.
Certificates, Licenses or Registrations: AutoCAD or Revit Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Computer programs: Windows, Word, Excel, the latest release of AutoCAD, the latest release of Revit. Knowledge of algebra and geometry and mathematical formulas. Technical ability in the Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical fields.
