Job Title: Accountant/Bookkeeper
Location: Birmingham, MI
Salary: $85k-$95kk
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting/tax, 5+ years of strong Tax Accounting/support experience
We are a boutique investment firm that focuses on timeshare companies, strategic leisure and hospitality assets. Due to company growth, we are looking for an Accountant/High-level Bookkeeper to provide support to the Controller, Managing Partner, and Senior Accountants. Ideal candidates will have a strong tax accounting background within a public accounting environment, have a strong work ethic, and are eager to grow with the firm.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Accountant, you will provide accounting and bookkeeping assistance for the Senior members of the company.
- Assist in completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP reporting for 20+ entities
- Assist portfolio analysts to reconcile monthly GAAP accounting and cash flow models
- Assist to complete accurate estimates for income taxes
- Help with routine reports for members to assess short-term and long-term liquidity and profitability
- Work with external auditors to provide workpapers necessary for bank audits
- Special projects, as assigned
What You Need for this Position
- Degree in Accounting
- CPA is preferred, but not required
- Business tax preparation experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- QuickBooks or similar reporting software experience
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must have a willingness to grow and learn
- Team player
