Job description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join an esteemed anesthesia group in the beautiful Monterey, California area.
As a Cardiac Anesthesiologist, you will play a vital role in providing anesthesia services across various specialties, with a primary focus on Cardiac procedures. The group also covers Orthopedics, Obstetrics, Thoracic, Pediatric, Vascular, ENT, Urologic, and Neurosurgical cases. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing Cardiac surgical procedures, ensuring safe and effective pain management.
- Perform pre-operative evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans for Cardiac patients.
- Utilize Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) for intraoperative monitoring and assessment.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed during procedures.
- Collaborate with the anesthesia team to provide optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration and patient information.
Key Details:
- No transplants, high-risk OB, or trauma cases.
- The on-call schedule includes two first calls and two-second calls per month.
- Opportunity to have 100% own cardiac cases.

Requirements:
- Possession of a valid California medical license and relevant credentials is a plus.
- Completion of a Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesiology.
