Cloud Program Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA (Day 1 Onsite)
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 8 years of experience in program or project management.
- 5 years of experience in a leadership role in telecommunications
- Experience with manufacturing, supply chain management or fulfillment planning and execution in a new product introduction (NPI) role.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience managing global cross-functional or cross-team projects implementing applications and data to Google cloud .
About the job . As a Program Manager, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish - working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Implement communications standards across a portfolio of programs including executive and key partner communications.
- Lead a governance structure that drives effective executive decision-making.
- Seek out and identify change management opportunities that increase program velocity and which affect multiple teams.
- Define/manage a program portfolio solving problems that target high business impact for the organization and product areas.
- Manage a portfolio or programs with strategic impact to organization.
- Project Manage Global Enablement & Communications in the Office of Accessibility.
- Ensure the successful completion of programs including enablement communications, communications strategies, and cross-enablement processes and programs. Includes drafting key messaging, communications, presentations, talk tracks, FAQs, and other materials.
- Effectively manage, motivate and hold accountable team members to complete priorities
- Draft impactful communications (Slack posts, emails, presentations) with clear CTAs and relevant resources.
- Collaborate globally to influence key team members on project scope/vision, solutions, budget and schedule
- Facilitate weekly project team meetings to focus and accelerate project execution
- Partner with key enablement leaders and collaborators to align on communications messaging.
- Proactively build strong, trusted working relationships with teams across the company including Marketing/Events, Office of Equality, Office of Ethical and Humane Use, to drive projects to successful completion
