Maritime Pools, a rapidly expanding commercial and residential pool company and a proven market leader in the Charleston, Savannah, and Columbia areas, is seeking a motivated and self-reliant Sales Consultant to contribute to the continued success and growth of our operation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in recommending products, building client relationships, and achieving sales goals within the designated regions.

Responsibilities:

Product Recommendations: Recommend pool products to clients based on their needs and interests, providing tailored solutions.

Product Knowledge: Provide in-depth product knowledge to current and potential clients, ensuring a clear understanding of the benefits of Maritime Pools' offerings.

Independent Work: Conduct sales calls, generate leads and proposals, follow up with current clients, and manage accounts independently outside the office.

Networking: Utilize company-provided avenues such as trade shows, dinners, and corporate sponsorships to network with current and potential clients.

Relationship Development: Build and maintain working relationships with clients and potential clients to foster long-term partnerships.

Bid Processing: Process bids and keep track of client proposals using the company's CRM software.

Market Strategies: Collaborate with management to identify markets and develop strategies to penetrate these markets effectively.

Sales Goals: Meet established sales goals and budget expectations.

Documentation: Record sales calls and relevant information accurately into the company database.

Comprehensive Sales: Engage in the sales of chemical, equipment, repair, renovation, and service offerings.

Candidate Requirements:

Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable deals for the company and clients.

Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience with a proven track record of excellence.

Aquatics Experience: (Preferred) Background or experience in aquatics.

Driving Record: Clean driving record.

We are a proven market leader in the area with strong brand recognition throughout our target market. Consultant will be responsible for covering the Charleston and surrounding markets. Travel will be limited to daily trips; overnight travel is very limited.

Duties will include:

- Recommending products to clients based upon their needs and interests

- Provide product knowledge to our current and potential clients

- Work will be independent – outside the office conducting sales calls, generating leads and proposals, following up with current clients, account management

- Network with current and potential clients through company provided avenues – trade shows, dinners and corporate sponsorships

- Develop working relationships with clients and potential clients

- Processing bids, keeping track of client’s proposal using company’s CRM software

- Work with management to help identify markets and strategies to infiltrate markets

- Meet sales goals and budget expectations

- Document sales calls into company database

- Sales of chemical, equipment, repair, renovation and service

Candidate must meet the following criteria:
