The Manufacturing Manager for the Function47 area is responsible for managing a team of skilled professionals, ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of printed electronic components using flexographic presses. This role demands a strategic thinker with proven leadership skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and a commitment to driving continuous improvement and employee satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Leadership

• Lead and inspire a team of approximately a dozen professionals, including machine operators, technicians, and quality control personnel.
• Set and manage performance targets for direct reports and provide performance feedback. Utilize recognition and motivational techniques and tools to drive high levels of employee satisfaction and engagement.

2. Operations Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Funtion47 Area, ensuring production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Document detailed working procedures for all operational functions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.

3. Quality Assurance

• Collaborate with the quality assurance and engineering teams to develop and enhance quality assurance protocols.
• Maintain stringent quality control measures to guarantee the production of high-quality printed electronics

4. Process Improvement

• Work with engineering team to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Drive improvement activities and actively engage direct reports in improvement projects.
• Actively participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in printed electronics or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• In-depth knowledge of flexographic printing processes and equipment is preferred.
