Job description
Join our marketing team as we spread the good news about our modern milkman service to friends and neighbors around the Northwest. It’s charming from start to finish, and we’re looking for a multimedia designer to help tell stories through visual content about the joy of home delivery.
The multimedia designer will produce video and image assets to support advertising and content marketing for Smith Brothers Farms in the Puget Sound area and Alpenrose in greater Portland. Both brands are beloved local icons with more than 100 years of history each.
Working in conjunction with internal content marketers and with input from our visual designer, the multimedia designer will work with people throughout our organization to produce content that engages, educates, and entertains (maybe even all at the same time).
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Create and refresh a dvertising assets for social, display, and video applications
- Plan, coordinate, shoot and edit video and photo content
- Produce static graphics and simple animations for content marketing
- Coordinate with media strategist, content designers, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate in the development of advertising and marketing plans
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Maintain constructive working relationships with all coworkers, manager, customers and business partners.
- Clock in correctly using the timeclock system daily.
- Practice and support all Standard Operating Procedures, Safe Chemical Handling procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Safety is an essential function of every position. Wear appropriate safety gear always. Be aware of your surroundings. Report all near misses, on the job injuries and safety concerns.
- Perform all other duties when requested or as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in video production.
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications for multimedia production
- Experience producing multimedia content from concept to completion
- Affinity and strong understanding of advertising and content marketing
- Experience working with RED digital cinema cameras (or similar)
- Bonus if you can work with Blender (or other 3D software) to create renderings
- Skills
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentation
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to build partnerships
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Media Production, or related field

Working Conditions:
- Full-time, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
- This is a hybrid position requiring minimum of two days per week in the Kent, WA office.
- Office (indoors) except when shooting off-site and outdoors
- Travel: Occasional travel to our Clackamas, OR location, 2-4 times per year with 1-2 overnight stays. Transporation is by personal car (mileage reimbursement) with the possibility of carpooling with others when workable.
- Local travel: Some driving between Kent and Federal Way to pick up product samples if necessary
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent lifting/carrying between 10 - 50 lbs, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, and bending.
- Contant sitting, using keyboard, fingering, handling (grasping, holding).
