Job Description



AECOM is looking for a Team Leader, Environmental Chemist for the Milwaukee, WI, or other Midwest offices in Chicago IL and Novi, MI. The position can be a hybrid of remote and onsite. The selected candidate will be tasked with providing technical expertise and specialized consulting advice in Environmental Analytical Chemistry. The candidate will also be a project chemist on CERCLA federal remediation projects responsible for managing the environmental chemistry aspects of these project. The Chemist's primary role will be to validate analytical data, write data validation reports, and help prepare Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs) and laboratory coordination of Federal Remediation projects

The Chemist will assist proposal teams with selection of analytical methodology and associated pricing, evaluate laboratory proposals, and establish QA/QC parameters. They will work with laboratories to ensure data meets technical requirements and project data quality objectives. Strong interpersonal and technical writing skills are critical, as is the ability to work effectively with team members as well as independently. The selected candidate must be well organized, can manage and prioritize assignments and staff, and deliver on time and on budget.

Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation (Wisconsin locations only) will be based on individual education,

, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000.
