Highly respected and forward thinking Boulder, Colorado Architectural Design firm specializing in the design and development of Commercial, Residential, Tenant Improvement, & Corporate Office Interiors projects actively seeks talented, skilled, and experienced Architectural Job Captain / Architectural Designer / Assistant Architectural Project Manager.
Architectural Job Captain / Architectural Designer / Assistant Architectural Project Manager Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, or closely related field. (Preferred not required)
- A minimum of at least three (3+) years of architectural industry experience working within a collaborative architectural office environment
- Previous transferable architectural project experience pertaining to Commercial, Residential, Tenant Improvement, or Corporate Office Interior projects is preferred.
- Must have a passion for architectural design and technical architectural knowledge coupled with leadership ability to direct and coordinate the work of the architectural project production team.
- Must have proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Architectural Registration in the U.S. is a huge plus
- The ideal candidate is an independent, explorative learner who is passionate about contemporary architecture. Our future team member must be highly motivated, efficient, creative, highly organized, articulate, and personable, and able to help design and produce a variety of projects. They will easily collaborate with other designers, and be able to synthesize big ideas into small details.
Architectural Job Captain / Architectural Designer / Assistant Architectural Project Manager Role and Responsibilities:
Oversee the design and preparation of contract documents through supervision and coordination of the work including in-house architectural as well as consultants
Reviews project documents for quality control
Maintains project records
Review projects for compliance with zoning and building codes, regulations and standards
Process documents through review agencies
Work with clients in the development of the design and documentation
Provide design information for construction cost estimates
Perform construction support and contract administration

Pay is commensurate upon experience + 401k plan + PTO benefits + bonuses based on performance.
