Job description

MDVIP, based in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who will provide confidential administrative support to the Human Resource department in areas related to general administration, recordkeeping, reporting, benefits, and compliance. Assists with the daily administrative operations of the human resource department and interacts with employees, management, and other business associates. This role reports to the Manager, Human Resources & Payroll and supports the Human Resources team.

General HR / Recordkeeping Activities:

  1. Performs new hire onboarding activities as directed, including completion of background screens, offer letters and welcome letters.
  2. Responds to general Human Resource inquiries from office and field employees and coordinates response from appropriate parties.
  3. Accountable for all HR recordkeeping file activities, including preparation of new hires HR and benefit files, pulling termination files, and storing or purging of documents as required under the HR recordkeeping procedure.
  4. Assists with recruitment and provides support to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  5. Provides general administrative support to HR team. Provides receptionist back-up support for scheduled break times.
  6. Serves as Content Administrator for the HR department’s intranet, developing content and assisting the team with relevant updates when needed.
  7. Updates HCM message center content, documents, and mailings. Manages acknowledgment responses, as needed.

Associate degree in business or comparable degree and at least two years specific HR experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience where two year’s HR experience equals one year of schooling. Prior MDVIP HR experience may substitute for one year of the experience requirement.

Work Environment:

Corporate based roles : As a corporate based role in Boca Raton, FL, employees are expected to work from the corporate office unless deemed eligible for the company’s Work from Home program. This program has position, tenure, and performance requirements that must be met and receive management approval.
