Job description
Dignity Health’s Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC) is a non-profit Community clinic organization comprised of more than 40 health centers located primarily from Ventura to Templeton spanning the coast. Our experienced physicians and advanced practice providers offer a wide range of primary and specialty care services. PHC is a part of Dignity Health Central Coast’s award-winning network of outstanding hospitals imaging centers laboratories and post-acute services.
In keeping with Pacific Central Coast Health Center's philosophy, the PHC Services Specialist is responsible for developing and providing training programs for all PHC sites. This position also performs audit and compliance functions and monitors quality assurance as it relates to systems at all PHC sites.
Requires an individual with demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to iniate change in a positive manner.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Knowledge and understanding of the credentialing process.
Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including, letters, memos and emails.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to research and analyze data.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, management, staff, and contacts outside the organization.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access) and internet resources.
Must be able to motivate and lead staff through necessary transitions required by the challenges in the current and future healthcare enviornment.
Proficiency with PC based applications, Word and database management programs, English proficiency both verbal and written
