KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, post, verify, and record vendor payments and other transactions related to accounts payable
• Process and deliver vendor invoices and billing statements
• Update and maintain vendor information, including contact details, name/address changes, mergers, etc.
• Research and promptly resolve discrepancies and inquiries related to vendor payments
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable
• Recommend improvements in processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare reports to monitor and manage accounts payable, such as payment status and outstanding invoices
• Support the payroll process, ensuring accurate payment of our most important assets - our people!
• Support the processing and auditing of expense reports monthly
• Contribute to the overall success of the monthly close and reporting process

QUALIFICATIONS

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance preferred; not required with appropriate experience
• 3+ years AP experience; applicants with at least 24 consecutive months with one employer preferred; payroll experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in relevant accounting software and tools
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; experience in fabrication or manufacturing industries is a plus
