Overview
Tech engineering services provider with a focus on talent enablement and talent transformation in both bespoke services and enterprise applications is looking for Global Head of Public Sector Sales to join their growing team. The Head of Sales for our Public Sector Business will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and lead and oversee all sales activities aimed at public sector primarily Federal Integrators. The candidate will play a pivotal role in owning a P/L, expanding our client base, strengthening existing relationships, and positioning our company as the go-to partner for tech talent in the federal marketplace.
Responsibilities - Strategic Sales Leadership : Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting federal integrators and agencies, driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within the public sector and integrator community.
- Market Analysis : Continuously analyze the federal marketplace to identify trends, challenges, opportunities, and potential competitive threats.
- Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a sales team, ensuring they have the tools, knowledge, and support needed to succeed.
- Proposal Management : Oversee the RFP/RFI process primarily on teaming agreements.
- Product Knowledge : Maintain deep knowledge of the company's tech talent offerings and align these with the specific needs of federal agencies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, especially the recruitment and project teams, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, updates, and trend analysis to senior leadership.
Qualifications - 10+ years demonstrated success in full lifecycle Public Sector business development.
- Extensive experience working with government consulting organizations for both pre-award and post award activities supporting their end customers and extensive knowledge of their go-to-market strategy.
- Demonstrated success selling complex Technology Solutions from initial sales discussions through implementation design and post-award standup.
- Successful track record of leading Government Contract Pursuits and the Capture Management process including pre-RFP business development, gap analysis, pricing, and teaming relationships through RFP response and program implementation upon award.
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
- Extensive understanding of the Government Procurement lifecycle
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the federal marketplace.
- Profound understanding of federal procurement processes and regulations.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
