NOTE: This is a 3-day Hybrid position in Los Angeles Downtown or Irvine, California.

One of our clients in Southern California is looking for a Senior QA Engineer/QA Lead with the following skills and experience:

Our client is seeking a Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead to join their dynamic team responsible for the creation of our investor IT portal. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of their portal by establishing robust QA processes and leading the testing efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and technical specifications of the IT portal.
  
• Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and processes to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
  
• Conduct thorough testing of the web application components using JavaScript (Vue.js) and TypeScript.
  
• Perform cross-browser testing to ensure compatibility across different web browsers.
  
• Implement automated testing solutions leveraging AWS services and CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Lead the team in identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs and issues throughout the testing lifecycle.
  
• Work closely with developers and stakeholders to prioritize and resolve defects in a timely manner.
  
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in QA testing methodologies.
  
• Continuously improve QA processes and tools to streamline testing efforts and enhance efficiency.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  
• 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on web application testing.
  
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Vue.js, and TypeScript.
  
• Demonstrated expertise in cross-browser testing and web application testing methodologies.
  
• Experience with AWS services and familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.
  
• Experience in setting up QA processes and leading QA teams.
  
• Prior experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
  
• Proven ability to take ownership of projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  
• Prior experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
