FINANCIAL DATA ANALYST SUMMARY
The Financial Data Analyst plays a crucial role with the Finance Team, tasked with the collection, processing, and thorough analysis of large datasets to provide impactful recommendations. They utilize various statistical and analytical techniques to decipher data, identify trends, patterns, and establish correlations. This role is also responsible for designing and implementing data collection systems while creating visualizations and reports to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

FINANCIAL DATA ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends and patterns within complex data sets for the Finance Team.
- Gathers requirements, determines scopes, conducts data analysis, and performs data queries and testing for the Chief Operating Officer (COO) & Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
- Develops and executes data queries from core source systems using Structure Query Language (SQL), Excel, and other relevant software.
- Translates data needs for the Finance Team into effective reporting, visualization, and actionable insights.
- Generates ad hoc analysis by understanding the relationship between specific finance workflows and data.
- Collaborates with IT/Reporting to develop Tableau dashboards for the Finance Team to utilize self-service analytics.
FINANCIAL DATA ANALYST QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a finance, accounting, or related role.
- Proficiency in financial data retrieval from SQL and the ability to articulate insights from the data.
- Strong problem-solving skills for addressing departmental needs.
- Strategic orientation, critical thinking skills, and the ability to evaluate broad impacts of work.
- Valid Driver’s License, vehicle, and insurance.
Preferred
- Previous experience in the financial services industry.
- Proven experience with analytical tools such as Tableau & SAS.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data manipulation functions.

- 628 Roosevelt Road, St. Cloud, MN
FINANCIAL DATA ANALYST SCHEDULE/HOURS:
- Full-Time, 40 Hours/week
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
FINANCIAL DATA ANALYST COMPENSATION:
- Up to $84,000 annually, Starting Pay Based on Experience
