Firmware Embedded Engineer - Biomedical Engineering
Vaco Staffing is conducting a search for a Firmware Embedded Engineer specializing in biomedical engineering. Role Location:
- Near Trenton, New Jersey (Specific location to be provided to shortlisted candidates) Must be local or willing to relocate to the area, position is 100 percent onsite.
Compensation:
- $130,000 Base Salary , plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
General
- Utilize advanced computing and software skills for operational efficiency.
- Interpret and execute technical specifications from various stakeholders.
Firmware and Embedded Systems Development
- Design and implement innovative firmware algorithms for biomedical applications.
- Document firmware functionalities and guidelines comprehensively.
- Oversee the firmware development lifecycle, including updates and support.
Hardware Interface and Design
- Develop electronic circuits with precise schematics.
- Understand and apply electronic communication protocols relevant to biomedical engineering (e.g., WIFI, CAN, Bluetooth).
- Select components that meet PCB design requirements.
- Conduct circuit simulations and validations.
- Maintain an up-to-date component library.
- Design PCB layouts using advanced CAD software.
- Test prototypes to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Manage project timelines to meet deadlines.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, with a focus on biomedical applications.
- At least 5-10 years of experience in firmware and embedded systems development, particularly in the biomedical sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C , with a comprehensive understanding of board design and engineering principles related to biomedical engineering.
