CHA COOP Clinical Student

As a member of the multidisciplinary care team, the CHA COOP Clinical Student performs duties of direct and indirect patient care.
The CHA COOP Clinical Student is responsible for:
-supporting the RN with clinical tasks, including, but not limited to patient assessment, procedures, glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs
-additional specific skills training based on unit placement
-responding to the needs of our patients and family members
-developing and maintaining competencies as delegated by a registered nurse
-collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to determine patient care needs and education
-speaking up for safety and escalating safety issues.
Clinical Co-Op Education /Training
High School Diploma and enrolled in an accredited nursing program or health science students with EMT or CNA license would be considered.
Certification: AHA/ARC BLS
Shifts: Twelve hour shifts or other options available. Shift differentials available
