Location: LISA Academy District Position Qualifications:
- Master's Degree from an accredited four-year educational instruction.
- Have the Certificate of Clinical Competence
- At least 1 -2 years of experience preferred
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide appropriate occupational services across grade levels
- Comply to Federal and State Regulations to address fine motor, processing, and other coordination disorders
- Implements a variety of service delivery models that include but not limited to individual therapy, small group therapy, and inclusive therapy services
- Administers assessments in the required areas that determine eligibility for occupational therapy services as outlined in the eligibility criteria
- Establish and maintain communication with administrators, personnel, and families on the students' progress.
- Address personal, social, and academic needs that may have an impact on a student's educational performance
- Provide intervention to students to foster growth in the learning environment
- Maintains daily and quarterly progress based on Student's Individual Monitor Progress
- Maintain Progress Notes and Annual Performance in preparation to advance from Grade-to-Grade
- Create appropriate goals to address speech/language deficits
- Attend trainings and meetings to address student individual needs, growth, and progress
- Participate in professional development trainings as required and assigned
- Communicate with teachers and other therapists on student progress
- Assist in the planning and development of the Student's Annual Individual Education Plan
- Perform other assigned duties as applicable
- Comply with all district and local campus routines and regulations
