Position Overview:
As a Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders, build brand awareness, and enhance our reputation. You will play a key role in shaping the narrative of our company, conveying our messages clearly and consistently across various channels, and driving initiatives to support our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic communication plans to support company goals and objectives
Create compelling content for press releases, newsletters, website, social media, and other communication channels
Serve as the primary point of contact for media relations, including pitching stories, coordinating interviews, and responding to media inquiries
Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, industry influencers, and stakeholders
Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks, and adjust communication strategies accordingly
Manage crisis communication and issues management, providing timely and transparent communication to internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and HR, to align communication efforts and support business initiatives
Plan and execute events, conferences, and other promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and engagement
Oversee the development and maintenance of communication materials, including presentations, speeches, and marketing collateral
Lead and mentor a team of communication professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster growth and development
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree preferred
Proven experience in communications or public relations roles, with a track record of success in developing and executing communication strategies
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling content for various audiences and channels
Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience managing media relations, including pitching stories, building relationships with journalists, and responding to media inquiries
Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems
Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve common goals
Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in all communications
