The Social Media Brand Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the overall goals and objectives of Sport Clips Haircuts while managing the internal social media team. She/he will lead a team to strategically leverage social media platforms to achieve business objectives, enhance brand presence and build meaningful connections with our target audience. This role involves planning, executing, and optimizing social media initiatives via strategic planning, content development and creation, audience engagement, analytics, and adaptability to industry trends. This leader will manage a social media team that is responsible for executing this mission and ensuring the brand’s voice and tone is consistent across all channels. She/he will work closely with the Director of Communications & Partnerships on measurement architecture, including KPIs, and reporting cadence to align with departmental strategy and overall brand mission.  

 

Scope:

The Social Media Brand Manager reports to the Director of Communications & Partnerships and collaborates with the Marketing team, Recruiting Team, and others to develop and create a social strategy supported with unique social content that drives consistent brand messaging across all social platforms. 

 

Key Criteria/Requirements:

Goal Alignment: Align social media efforts with the broader goals and mission of the company. This involves understanding the company’s objectives, target audience, and overall marketing strategy. 

 

Social Strategy: Create an overall social media strategy that resonates with Sport Clips’ target audiences and reinforces the brand message. This includes planning and producing relevant and engaging content tailored to each social media channel and each audience and evaluating content performance. 

 

Monitoring & Analytics: Implement tools to monitor social media performance and gather analytics data. Analyze metrics to measure the success of campaigns, content performance on each platform, and audience engagement, while also identifying areas for improvement. 

 

Innovation & Trends: Stay informed about the latest social media trends and innovations. Integrate new features and techniques into the strategy to keep the brand relevant and ahead of the competition. 

 

Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of social media initiatives. Regularly assess and report on the performance of social media campaigns, making data-driven decision to optimize strategy. 

 

Team Development/Management: Manage a team of social media professionals, providing direction to ensure consistency in tone, voice, and brand messaging across all channels. 

 

Collaboration with Teams: Collaborate with marketing, communications, recruiting, and other relevant teams to ensure a cohesive approach across all channels. Coordinate social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns and work with external partners as needed. 

 

Culture & Leadership: Offer effective leadership for your team, building a positive culture and providing development opportunities.
