Job description

The Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) Program at Tufts University is seeking a part-time lecturer for the Fall 2024 semester, which begins September 3, 2024 , to teach the following course:

WGSS 0072, Introduction to WGSS: Queering Feminisms. The class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:45 pm.

A Doctorate or ABD in a related field and college-level teaching experience are both required.

All applications must be submitted via Interfolio at: apply.interfolio.com/141781 .  Candidates should submit a cover letter stating their qualifications for teaching the course, a curriculum vitae, a tentative syllabus or related syllabus, teaching evaluations (if available), a teaching statement, a statement describing your efforts to encourage diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice, and two confidential letters of reference, submitted directly by the authors, and uploaded to Interfolio.  Review of applications will begin on March 11, 2024 and will continue until the position is filled. Offers are contingent on the completion of a successful background check.
