Job description

The fixed-income group of a global asset manager based in New Jersey is looking for software engineers to work on a greenfield front office risk and portfolio management platform. The firm is looking for experienced software engineers who are interested in building platforms from scratch on a modern tech stack.

The software engineers will work alongside the portfolio investment group as well as other front-office investment teams, including portfolio managers and quants. The tech stack includes Java, Python, JavaScript, AWS, and React.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop user interfaces.
• Build new risk and portfolio management applications in Python and Java.
• Build the future front office risk and portfolio management platform.
• Manage large amounts of data in various formats.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in developing in Java or Python, with ideally some JavaScript knowledge
• Knowledge of common SDLC tools such as Jira
• Knowledge of cloud tools such as AWS
• knowledge of fixed income
