Our work depends on a Program Analyst joining our team to support our customer activities in Washington, DC. This position is fully remote.
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Program Analyst supporting our Customer, you will perform communication-related duties. In this role, a typical day will include:
- Perform complex tasks involving the gathering, analyzing and compiling of data and information into well-written reports, manuals, help files, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Collect data and comments from multiple sources and integrate it into a cohesive response.
- Communicate data analysis, findings, conclusions, and recommendations to a variety of audiences through static (PowerPoint presentations and briefings) or interactive presentations (Tableau), and via written reports (e.g., white papers, memoranda, information papers, emails, reports).
- Create and edit a variety of written documentation, including but not limited to: proposals, MOUs, user manuals, technical requirements, governance processes, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Support customer and end users.
- Design and hold webinars and training sessions.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities, and initiate follow up to ensure timely achievement of commitments.
- Support members of team in other related duties.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (degree in English, communications, visual media, technical writing, or related field preferred).
- One to three years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional knowledge MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Demonstrated superior oral and written communication skills (please submit at least one writing sample).
- Proven past experience in one or more of the following areas (if not immediately obvious on the résumé, please explain in a separate attachment or cover letter):
- Grant/proposal writing.
- Technical writing.
- Designing and delivering trainings; curriculum development.
- Proofreading/editing, especially of legal or contract documentation.
- Graphic design, desktop publishing, or illustration.
- Ability to convert technical knowledge into easily understood terms.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
- Strong strategic communication skills to include presenting quantitative concepts in easy-to-understand formats and actively listening to identify business problems and their cause.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with refugee and immigrant population and social programs, a plus.
