Job description
Upscale waterfront restaurant in Jensen Beach under NEW OWNERSHIP looking for line & prep cooks with a great attitude and skill level. We are looking for a few great cooks with a positive attitude to join our family-run operation. We treat our staff like family and appreciate them on a daily basis.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with catering events as needed.
Skills:
- Previous experience in the food industry as a line cook or prep cook.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and knife skills.
- Familiarity with dietary department guidelines and restrictions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
