This role will be based out of our Quincy or Woburn, MA offices, and will be involved in multiple project assignments with diverse clients throughout the firm.  

What youll do 

Under the direction of a Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer, or Project Engineer, perform the following items for transportation and Complete Street Projects:

Design calculations 

Bid documents including specifications and drawings 

State, federal, and local permit applications 

Perform fieldwork such as surveying, GPS data collection, infrastructure inspections and assessment, traffic counts, and construction observation 

Contribute to reports describing the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions from field efforts 

Use technical software to support transportation

Use AutoCAD and GIS applications to support planning and design 

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff. Provide on-the-job training and mentoring for interns 

 

Must have  

Bachelors Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering 

Excellent writing skills 

Familiarity with AutoCAD and GIS applications & proficiency with Microsoft 365 

Valid Drivers License 

 
Like to have 

Previous intern or Co-op experience preferred 

EIT certification - if working towards it, be able to obtain it within the first year of employment.
