Job description

Bachoco OK Foods is seeking a Training & Development Coordinator for our Fort Smith, AR location. 

Summary: Supporting the training and development initiatives within an organization. The primary responsibilities involve assisting in the coordination and implementation of various training programs to enhance employee skills and performance. Key duties include administrative tasks, logistical support, and communication with trainers and employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. 

Education and Experience: Four-year degree from an accredited college; or more than 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Must have a valid driver’s license and qualify for the company driving program.

Language Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is desired. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including meeting/classroom facilitation and presentation. 

Mathematical Skills: Ability to collect and analyze data, write reports, create presentations, business communications.

Computer Skills: Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Preferred knowledge on LMS (Learning Management System) with SuccessFactors.

Physical Demands: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform this job. Regular sitting, usage of hands to finger, handle, or fell, reaching with hands and arms. Speaking and hearing on a regular basis. Frequent walking and standing. Lifting or moving of 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. on occasion.

Work Environment: The work environment for this role is primarily based in an office setting, characterized by a low noise level and a controlled climate. However, there may be occasional exposure to various environmental factors, including wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and moderate to high noise levels.
