The Role:

As an Instructional Designer, you'll be an integral part of our School, dedicated to enhancing employee experiences from onboarding to advanced career development. Your primary responsibility will involve developing and maintaining engaging learning content, ensuring alignment with our company culture. We're seeking a creative individual who can apply learning theory, best practices, and emerging trends to deliver impactful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Create compelling digital and instructor-led training materials to support the professional development employees.
Apply expertise in instructional design and resource development, drawing on adult learning theories and practices.
Collaborate with the team to conceptualize appropriate learning solutions, designs, and technologies for a global audience.
Develop facilitator guides, storyboards, and interactive learning content that effectively communicates key concepts.
Produce instructional materials across various delivery methods, including instructor-led training, video production, e-learning, and performance support.
Implement assessment strategies and engagement tactics to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs.
Maintain and update School of and learning resources in alignment with evolving needs.
Liaise with stakeholders and subject matter experts across the organization to ensure content relevance and fidelity culture and priorities.
Integrate Diversity & Inclusion considerations into all learning solutions.
Stay abreast of modern learning and employee development strategies and recommend innovative approaches.
Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or a related discipline, with a focus on Instructional Systems Design or Educational Technology preferred.
1-3 years of experience in instructional design across various modalities for diverse employee populations.
Solid understanding of instructional design principles, learning models, and adult learning theory.
Proficiency in instructional and graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, video/audio editing, and Microsoft 365 applications.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts in a decentralized organization.
Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:

Experience in the entertainment, or related industry.
Advanced degree in Instructional Design or a related field.
Familiarity with digital learning software and learning management systems.
Experience conducting Train the Trainer sessions.
Remote or hybrid work experience.

Compensation:

The expected compensation for this position in California ranges from $68,000.00 to $85,000.00 USD annually. Please note that this is an estimate and may vary based on factors such as education, experience, and location.
