Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant
Team/Department: Accounting
Location: Woodbury, NY (On-site 5 days a week)
Hours: Full-time
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $125,000

We are a full-service public accounting firm focusing on accounting and consulting services for businesses and individuals. We are currently looking for an senior accountant with local, state, and federal tax regulations to prepare tax returns, perform estimations, analysis, and planning.

What You Will Be Doing

- Tax planning, tax preparation, review, compliance, and research.
- Apply knowledge of current issues in tax, regulatory requirements, and industry specific concerns to clients and be able to identify where they may impact a client and recommend strategies.
- Preparation of various tax returns, including, but not limited to: Individual, Fiduciary, Corporate, Partnership, and Multistate.

What You Need for this Position

- CPA license (Preferred)
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting (Required)
- CPA or CPA candidate
- At least 5+ years of experience in a CPA firm
- Experience using UltraTax CS, Checkpoint, Microsoft Office Suite and Intuit products (Preferred)
