Job description

Our client, the 15 th largest broker in the US, is looking for an experienced Account Specialist to join their team and help support a growing book of business.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and managing relationships with key accounts, a strong understanding of the construction industry as well as the insurance needs of construction companies.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Produce/assist with client submissions, proposals, presentations, summaries and loss run reports
• Support broker and client executive with providing day-to-day client service
• Assist with contract reviews of coverage requirements
• Assist with policy workflow process

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of insurance experience
• Property and Casualty broker license a PLUS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically: Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Commercial P&C experience preferred
