Role Description
This is a contract on-site role located in Somerset, NJ for a Business Consultant. The Business Consultant will be responsible for analyzing business processes , developing GAP Analysis of existing vs. Best-in-Class processes, capture data to identify areas for improvement, making recommendations to increase efficiency and profitability, and implementing solutions that align with the client's strategic goals. The Business Consultant will communicate with stakeholders , gather requirements, and provide ongoing support to ensure successful project implementation.
There are two open roles, a Junior Consultant/Analyst and a Senior Consultant.
- All time is straight time and NO Overtime is paid.
- Times may be capped at 40/hrs. Per week.
- Candidates MUST be able to commute to Somerset, NJ on their own. There are NO Travel related expenses for this role.
- The role will be ON-SITE 4-5 days per week for the Diagnostic Phase (~ 5-6 weeks).
- If the work is satisfactory to the client, there is a Phase 2 Implementation that can go for upwards to 4 months.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 5-12 years of experience in management consulting or business analysis, preferably in a client-facing role
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques such as Agile, Waterfall, and/or Scrum
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet all project deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Analytics is a plus
- Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies is a plus
