Job description
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join
our team in a full time capacity, working in a primary care office setting in Albany,
NY. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for
providing patient care, administering medications, and assisting with various
medical procedures.
Compensation: From $27.00 per hour. Benefits: 401(k),
Dental insurance, Free parking, Health insurance, Paid time off.
Requirements:
- Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
license.
- Experience in ambulatory or primary care settings is
preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented
environment.
- Proficient in electronic health record systems.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare charts (Via EMR), Triage, rooming, lab requisitions,
Pre-authorizations, Fill Scripts
- Deliver high-quality patient care in collaboration with the
healthcare team.
- Administer medications and vaccines following established
protocols.
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations, treatments,
and minor procedures.
- Record and maintain accurate patient medical histories and
vital signs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and
colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain a
clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay
current with healthcare practices.
