Salary Range $57,220.00 - $82,970.00 Salary
Description General Purpose: As an IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's information technology systems. You will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining the overall functionality of IT infrastructure.
Essential Functions: - Respond to and resolve end-user requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically.
- Provide guidance and support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of end-user devices, including computers, printers, and mobile devices.
- Answer and resolve all tier 1 Jira support tickets (Tier 1: Uploads, add permissions, basic troubleshooting, and basic function support of all software platforms).
- Take lead role in onboarding new MGMA staff. Duties include:
1. Readying all IT devices needed for new staff per outlined documentation for onboarding.
2. Ensuring new staff mobile device is set up with Microsoft MFA and enrolled.
3. qualifying new staff on day-to-day intranet software to include SharePoint resources, Teams, and Jira.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Identify and escalate issues that require advanced technical expertise or collaboration with other IT teams.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, patches, and backups.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for common issues to create a knowledge base.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect systems and data.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to address complex issues and contribute to ongoing projects.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on new software or system features.
- Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets via Asset Panda.
Supervisory duties: Qualifications Knowledge, skills, and abilities: - Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, Microsoft operating systems, and software applications to include but not fully listed. (Office 365/Adobe Acrobat/Zoom/Ring Central phone and video conferencing/ All other MGMA approved software applications)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with network protocols and configurations.
- Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
Education: - An Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
- Microsoft Certification is preferred.
Experience: - Two (2) or more years' of IT related work experience is required.
- Working in an enterprise environment experience is preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.
Additional Requirements/Licenses - Must have reliable transportation.
- May require occasional evening or weekend work.
- May need to be on call for after-hours support.
- Must live in Denver or the surrounding areas and be able to commute to the corporate office as requested.
- Must provide necessary documentation to prove candidate is a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or a foreign national with authorization to work in the United States.

Position also requires occasional movement inside the office to access file cabinets, printers, etc. While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to successfully navigate scenarios requiring the following operational abilities:
- Ability to operate PC/keyboard and other office productivity equipment.
- Ability to position self to traverse/navigate around typical office setting.
- Ability pull/push, lift, open/close, grasp/manipulate, transport up to 10lbs.
