Job description
The Service Manager is a senior leadership position within Winterberry. The role is to oversee the daily operations of the Fertilization and Irrigation Service Department. The manager will work collaboratively with other Department Managers to ensure the success of the Winterberry Group as a whole. Service Manager is to ensure scheduling is timely and appropriate, and customers’ expectations are being met and/or exceeded. Work closely with the team to ensure all service/installation projects are performing to company expectations.
Internally, the Service Manager will be responsible for the financial success of each project/department. This will be done by properly accounting for time and job costs reporting systems and that all jobs are accurately billed and collected in a timely manner. The Service Manager is responsible for representing the company at industry trade shows and other similar events as part of the company’s business development efforts to generate growth.
Job Duties
Promoting solid standard customer service.
Developing other team members through active coaching, on-the-job training and insightful timely performance appraisals
Attend scheduled operations and financial meetings.
Staying current with respect to industry trends and technology, and sharing with team members.
Contributing to the overall success of the Winterberry Group through cooperative teamwork.
Client Relations Supervising and supporting team member.
Management of production for our service department. This will include scheduling daily routing and overseeing of crews to insure that service is being properly and efficiently performed.
Ensuring that clients are satisfied completely through good communication and relationship building skills including walk-through and working closely with property owners.
Ensuring a safe environment for employees and customers.
Selling services to drive growth within the department as well as create cross selling opportunities to foster Company growth.
Required Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills positively impacting teams and clients.
Strong oral and written skills.
Track record of successfully consulting with clients on needs and desires.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, action oriented environment. Highly organized and detail oriented.
Highly flexible to adjust to changing demands. Positive and professional image.
Attend necessary training courses/seminars needed to stay current with the industry. License and certification requirements may be discussed further during interview. The company will assist the right candidate in completing these requirements post-hiring.
