As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate and driven Associate Director of Product Management to join our team.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director of Product Management to lead our cell sample preparation device product line. In this role, you will play a critical role in defining the product strategy, driving product development, and ensuring market success. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, sales, and customer support, to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the cell sample preparation device portfolio, including defining target markets, identifying customer needs, and setting product goals and objectives.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights. Use this information to drive product innovation and differentiation.
- Product Development: Work closely with the R&D team to translate customer requirements into product specifications. Manage the product development lifecycle, including concept development, design, prototyping, and testing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies, messaging, and promotional materials. Partner with sales teams to support product launches, sales training, and customer engagement.
- Product Launch: Plan and execute successful product launches, ensuring that products are delivered on time, on budget, and meet quality standards.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from introduction to end-of-life, making data-driven decisions about enhancements, updates, and discontinuations.
- Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with key customers and gather feedback to continuously improve products. Ensure that customer needs are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Budget Management: Manage the product management budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to achieve product objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, biotechnology, engineering), MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management within the life sciences or biotechnology industry.
- Strong understanding of cell biology and cell sample preparation techniques.
- Proven track record of successfully bringing complex scientific instruments or devices to market.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
