Job description

OCES aims to support elders and persons with disabilities by providing vital information and coordination of services that promote healthy and safe living for our consumers. Our goal is to keep individuals active in their lives and communities as long as possible.

To that end, OCES seeks a caring individual to serve as our Meal Site Manager to coordinate food service operations at assigned meal sights for our Nutrition Program, which provides needed nutritious meals to our elder consumers. Work with us and feel good about the contribution you are making each day.

Monday through Friday mornings! 20-25 hours per week

Reports to one of our Meal Sites for coverage as needed each day. Brockton area and Plymouth County

What you'll do:

• Collaborating with Council on Aging (COA) Director and/or Housing Authority personnel when appropriate to assign and direct the work of volunteer staff and home delivered meals drivers
• Collaborating with COA Director and Housing Authority personnel to promote a congenial and harmonious meal site
• Ensuring that all health, sanitation, and safety regulations are met
• Delivering meals on occasion as necessary
• Providing accurate and timely reports as prescribed
• Receiving and accounting for donations according to OCES procedure

What you will bring to the job:

• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to understand and follow regulations and procedures.
• Caring and sensitivity to our served population
• Food service experience desirable - but not required.
• Some computer experience.
• Valid Driver's License
