Eastridge Workforce Solutions in partnership with a premier law firm located in the Costa Mesa, CA area, in the search for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join the team as the Accounts Payable Coordinator . In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, paperless environment and have a strong foundation in accounts payable systems and financial principles. Responsibilities:
- Review and process invoices, check requests, credit cards, and employee reimbursements for payment.
- Audit and reconcile payment, vendor, and coding information.
- Follow up regarding past due invoices with internal and external stakeholders.
- Respond to routine internal inquiries regarding the operation of the web-based program.
- Work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced/paperless environment.
- Work overtime as required, particularly at month end and year end.
- Handle additional related projects as assigned.
Proficiencies:
- Fundamental to Advanced proficiency in accounts payable systems.
- Fundamental to Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite applications, specifically MS Excel and spreadsheet/database applications.
- Fundamental to Advanced knowledge of accounts payable standards and procedures.
- Fundamental to Advanced knowledge of general accounting and financial principles.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree; Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- At least 2 years of accounting or finance experience (required).
- At least 2 years of accounts payable experience (required).
- At least 2 years of experience in a professional services or legal environment (preferred).
